We collect concrete stories about the lives of persons and their families whom we assist. By telling those stories we hope to inspire other people to support our activities and help to bring an end to poverty. In these stories we will only use information about the person which he/she voluntarily shares with us. Such personal information may include, e.g.: 

  • general information like name, age, or the area of residence; 
  • more sensitive information, such as information about the health.  

Therefore, we will only record the story based on the explicit consent which we ask to confirm by signing a specific form.  

For internal archiving and documentation purposes, we will use the following personal information: 

  • Your name 
  • Your address 
  • Date and place of recording of the story. 

We intend to use your story to raise visibility of our joint actions: 

  • on TV in countries across our membership; 
  • electronically on our homepage and on members’ websites, and 
  • in print in magazines, capacity statements or fund-raising materials. 

Alliance2015 will not use your story after five years, but we will keep your information with restricted access for limited situations in which we may revisit your story. We will remove all your information when we no longer need to keep it, in line with our internal procedures. 

We understand that you might change your mind in the future and would like to withdraw your consent to using your information and telling your story. Withdrawing your consent will have no negative consequences for you. If you withdraw your consent, we will not use your story in future communications. We may not be able to withdraw images already published.
