We’re excited to announce that our Alliance2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in Paris on September 21-22 as a hybrid event, co-hosted by Acted with the Alliance2015 Hub!
In these annual occasions, Alliance2015 members strengthen links and sense of belonging, harvest learning and reflect on accountability together.
The AGM 2026 will focus on bringing our new Strategy to life, by aligning on how we work together across the Alliance and identifying practical ways to strengthen collaboration, effectiveness and collective impact.
Key Themes
The programme will be built around three interconnected themes:
- Models of Collaboration and Integration
Exploring how we can move beyond co-location towards more integrated ways of working, enhancing synergies, efficiency and added value—particularly for local partners. - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Reflecting on opportunities for joint innovation and use of AI across the Alliance, including practical applications as well as ethical and organisational implications. - Strategy Roll-out
Translating the new Strategy into concrete approaches, roles and ways of working across Alliance2015.

Our 2026 AGM will take place over 2 days. All sessions are hybrid.
DAY 1: 21 September 2026, 14:00-18:00 CEST
Executive Board meeting (09:00-12:00).
Registrations & Lunch (12:00-14:00)
Session 1 (14:00-15:00): Opening & Framing.
Opening remarks and an introduction to the AGM objectives, the new Alliance2015 strategy and our collective ambition.
Session 2 (15:10-16:20): Members’ Experience Exchange
Members will share examples of collaboration practices, challenges and lessons learned, creating space to learn from experiences across Alliance2015.
Case studies:
1. One Team Approach,
2. Venezuela emergency response,
3. Climate Mobility in Mesoamerica (ANIF)
Session 3 (16:40-18:15): Future Labs – Reimagining Collaboration.
An opportunity to explore new forms of collaboration that could create value for Alliance2015, including potential gains in integration, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and impact. Participants will work together on practical collaboration ideas.
Scenarios:
1. Alliance2015 Talent & Expertise Sharing Platform
How could Alliance2015 create mechanisms to share staff, specialist expertise and surge capacity across members, through secondments, technical rosters, advisory support and temporary deployments?
2. Joint Advocacy at regional level
How could Alliance2015 jointly lead advocacy efforts on common issues among bordering countries, improving efficiency, optimizing opportunities and amplifying members’ voice at multiple levels?
3. Shared localization infrastructure
How could Alliance2015 build shared systems, tools and support resources to strengthen localization efforts, including due diligence, partner assessments, capacity strengthening and compliance requirements?

DAY 2: 22 September 2026, 09:00-15:30 CEST
Session 4 (09:00-10:45): Recap DAY 1 & AI Innovation Spotlights.
Member-led examples will showcase current uses of AI, opportunities for joint innovation and relevant ethical considerations. The session will focus on practical opportunities for Alliance2015 collaboration.
Session 5A (11:15-12:45): Strategy in Action & Ownership.
Participants will build on the collaboration opportunities identified during the AGM and explore which ideas should become concrete Alliance2015 priorities, including the actions, strategic fit, resources and first steps needed.
Lunch break (12:45-14:00)
Session 5B (14:00-15:00): Strategy in Action & Ownership.
Participants will review the proposals developed in the working groups and identify priority commitments and ownership for taking selected initiatives forward.
Session 6 (15:30-16:00): Closing & Next Steps.
