Making Aid more Effective
Back from Busan, the Alliance2015 particpants are assessing the outcome of the fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness
The 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan ended with the announcement of a new ‘Global Partnership’ endorsed by the so-called ‘traditional’ donors but also the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa- 'emerging donors'), the private sector and civil society. While many of the commitments made in Paris and Accra have yet to be delivered upon, a new chapter in development cooperation has definitely begun.
